BELL and Y-USA Launch Power Scholars Academy™

This summer, the Power Scholars Academy™, a new joint program of BELL (Building Educated Leaders for Life) and YMCA of the USA (Y-USA) expects to serve at least 1,000 K-8 students in six states. La Piana Consulting worked with BELL and Y-USA in 2013 and 2014 to create a business plan and evaluation component to guide the launch of this summer learning initiative aimed at addressing the achievement gap for disadvantaged youth.
