Meet Estephany,
one of our Associate Consultants.
Estephany Gomez Bautista (she/her/ella) is a passionate advocate for social justice and equity, driven by a desire to support organizations that translate big ideas into real-world impact. Since joining La Piana in December 2022, she has leveraged her experience working with and for diverse communities to advance these goals. Estephany thrives on supporting clients whose work centers the needs of the communities they serve, particularly those tackling critical issues of economic and social inequality.
Prior to joining La Piana, Estephany worked as a Faculty Support Assistant at UCLA Law and served as the Program Coordinator for UCLA Law’s Critical Race Studies Program. Her background also includes roles as Legal Assistant for the Central American Resource Center (CARECEN), and Public Affairs Intern for Planned Parenthood Advocacy Project Los Angeles County.
Impact Approach | Estephany makes a difference by using her project management skills to help nonprofits and foundations bring their great ideas to life. She works closely with them, adapts to changing needs, and provides excellent service to ensure their success in creating positive change. |

Outside of Work | Estephany was born in the central state of Mexico just north of the greater Mexico City urban area. She is a proud first-generation college graduate and the first in her family to have a professional career. Estephany loves live music, visiting other major cities, and looks forward to the Spring season each year. She also has a miniature dachshund who keeps her very busy. |
