While GivingTuesday inspires radical acts of generosity every day, the annual celebration of giving will take place next week on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.

Created as a simple idea in 2012 at the 92nd Street Y New York and its Belfer Center for Innovation & Social Impact to encourage people to do good, GivingTuesday spun off as an independent nonprofit in 2021 and has grown into a global movement that engages hundreds of millions of people. From helping a neighbor to advocating for an issue, sharing a skill, or donating to causes, this day reminds us that everyone has something to give, and every act of generosity counts.
