In 2009, La Piana Consulting began working with Blue Shield of California Foundation and its Blue Shield Against Violence (BSAV) program to help domestic violence organizations strengthen their work through collaboration and strategic restructuring.

In addition to providing direct consulting assistance to BSAV grantees in forming successful nonprofit partnerships, we have conducted research and developed case studies and webinars exploring how domestic violence service providers and allied organizations can use collaborative strategies to enhance sustainability and mission achievement.
