Navigating Challenges: Key Insights on Supporting Latine Communities in Light of Project 2025

With the recent election, the landscape for Latine communities and nonprofits has taken on new complexities. In response, our Vías team hosted a curated conversation in October 2024, aimed at preparing organizations for potential challenges under Project 2025.

Led by Luis Vergara, Humberto Camarena, Estephany Gomez Bautista, and Olivia Audsley, this gathering was designed to be a forum for leaders in the Latine social sector to share resources, ideas, and experiences. The conversation focused on potential hurdles under a new administration and facilitated an exchange of innovative approaches to support and protect our communities.

We received some great feedback from participants, along with requests for a shareable version of the slides we used. As a result, we are excited to offer access to the presentation slides prepared by the Vías team.

We hope the information will serve as an essential tool for all stakeholders in the Latine social sector. As we move forward, the strength of our community and continued collaboration will be vital.
